It may or may not be fair to mention that period #2 since Irene was born just started yesterday. Menstruating has been extremely weird postpartum: There isn't so much discomfort as just a feeling that something is off; the flow is very different; I feel WAY more emotional beforehand, and yet it isn't an obvious sign that my period is coming because ( Read more... ) -

I made a stop in Manila today to use the restroom. yep, seriously. I downed a mug of hot chocolate on the way to Hospice, and on the way back to my car I felt the urge to go, so I decided halfway through Samoa to stop holding it.

Is it really Monday?
good times at my house today. Irene only woke up once last night, and she slept until 9 this morning! So I actually got a REALLY GOOD night's sleep. plus, I had so much milk I decided to pump some before feeding her, for practice, and I got almost 5 ounces of milk, by far trumping the 2 1/2 I pumped a few night ago.

craigslist can be a bitch sometimes
okay, I was up pretty darned early and had nothing to do, so I checked craigslist just for the hell of it. this must have been like at 6:30 or something, because there's a post on there from 6:45 that I did not see, advertising some free stuff I was pretty interested in. like a bike rack for the back of your car, a camping stove, and some other ( Read more... )
