election fraud + lovely people
a friend went to vote the other day, voted straight democratic ticket (y'know, where the machine fills in the whole thing as votes for democrats?), and when she got to the confirmation page, her vote showed up as MCCAIN/PALIN!!!! now, this isn't like it's a game of telephone, with a story 15 people removed. this happened here, now, to my friend! i got drunk with john mccain last night. okay, maybe not drunk. and we weren't exactly together. but 20 minutes into watching the debates, my stomach turning at the ceaseless phrase, it occurred to us that it would be a fine thing to drink every time the senator said, "my friend(s)". thanks are (obviously) owed tina fey and her 'maverick' ( Read more... ) -
