Today was Piper's birthday. She spent it by attending classes, one of which she had a test in. Not exactly the most fun birthday ever. Didn't help that it was Monday. She had cake, though. Cake made by her best friend. That made things better ( Read more... )

Saying her current age out loud reminded her a little about how weird it was she was talking to her son who was only four years younger.

Lindsey probably could have saved his money and called up Turner's interdimensional taxi service but he'd gone with Portalocity instead. Which was why it was a bit later than he'd intended when he finally got to the Hyperion.

And then, because he was sometimes an obnoxious boy, he called Piper from the hallway outside her room. Ring-ring.
