how about a grilled cheese with sliced tomatoes in the middle?

shred some of the swiss cheese if it isn't sliced and use the grape seed oil to moisten the bread before frying in a pan

cheese and tomato sandwiches are a tasty thing :)

I think you missed the point--she's looking how to use up the pork cutlets with those ingredients :P

Sear the cutlets in the oil. Cut up the apples and tangerines. Cover the cutlets with the apples and tangerines (juice some of the tangerines and add the juice to the skillet). If you have any alcohol on hand, add some to the mix. Wines are better than beer in this case, but beer will work in a pinch. Add some water if you don't have any alcohol. Add rice or pasta to the pan. Cover and simmer until meat/starch is done. I presume you have salt and pepper? Meat desperately needs salt. Pepper is also nice.

You didn't mention staples; milk, butter/oil, cream, flour or any canned soups? the flavor packet in the ramen counts as bouillion, btw ( ... )

have you tried using a slice or two or bread to make bread crumbs? add some salt and pepper or any seasonings you have if you want (I personally add parmesan cheese) then bread the chops (even just using water on the chops will help the crumbs stick) and then cook them up (Basically poor-man's shake and bake)

grilled cheese sandwiches are always an option (if you're adventurous add tomato slices)

you could check allrecipes.com and search by ingredients see if there's anything you could make (even if it means omitting some ingredients)

also, expiration on bread is kinda pointless, if it's not moldy (if it is throw it out!) or hard as a rock (although you can do stuff to soften it up) it's good ^^

Next time you get a chance, I'd suggest you get potatoes (like a ten pound sack) you don't need to refridgerate them, just keep them in a dark, dry area and they'll be good. Plus you can add them to like everything O_O breakfast, lunch, dinner, does not matter, potatoes are awesome (plus they're cheap and filling)

Heck, potatoes don't even need the dark, just the dry. I've had my potatoes in hanging baskets for years (not the same potatoes, I do use them)

saute the cutlets with some salt/pepper/whatever herbs you have on hand, and throw it in the ramen. Simple and easy :)
