Last night I watched "Dances with Wolves" and "Arachnophobia" and, today, I watched "Homeroom." At the end of each, I felt like I had a profound thought. As if I finally understood what those movies were about, got the message, and applied the knowledge internally. Weird.

Due to a financial miscalculation, I drained my bank account on Monday. I'm not due to get paid until next Tuesday. Luckily I have stores of food, so no worries there. I spent two hours walking two and from the nearest hardware store to pick up a C-clamp around midday. I watched "21" a while back and kinda saw the ending coming. The process of counting cards confused me a bit. In "Rainman" they made the comment that "no one can count into a six-deck shoe" but the counting in "21" seemed to track everything pretty well. Every card is either +1, 0, or -1.
