Watched and reflected a lot of media tonight after a long but fulfilling day at work.
CSI - WTF? No closure from the previous episode with Lady Heather. I would've expected it if Grissom wasn't in the episode, but he was. Again, WTF?
Supernatural - I'm so addicted to this show and this last episode just had *the* hottest sex scene I've ever seen on basic cable. Too bad it got cut short by squickage.
Joy Ride 2 (shut up) had me yelling at the television during the finale. I'm sorry, but when you get the drop on someone bigger and stronger, you don't stop beating them until you see gray matter. Who cares if they stop moving? That just makes them easier to hit. And try hitting with the edge of the shovel rather than the flat, you get better results that way. (Just once, I would like to see a horror/thriller film do this.) And I'm getting tired of the ever-invincible villain that just keeps on coming back. Next time, climb down there and make sure he's dead and not just badly wounded.
Deception was better, though it got mixed reviews online. I liked it. Ewan McGregor was cute as the geeky businessman. Hugh Jackman looked good as the villian. I do agree that Michelle Williams was a bit out of place in her role, but I couldn't think of anyone off the top of my head I would've rather seen. Rachael Taylor just looked fucking hot in her one, small scene with no dialogue. :::Sigh::: To be noticed like that... Anyway. I liked how the sex club worked, but I would've liked a little more background on it, even though it would not have added anything to the story.
