I continue to find myself immensely curious about this place. Just the other day, I managed to gather quite the curious collection of jewelry because of our surprising royalty. On top of that, I saw boys who should be girls and girls who should be boys, all believing that they were dragons or royalty ( Read more... )

Gods are less a question of belief and more one of experience in my world.

It's difficult to deny there's a god who oversees the afterlife when you're standing opposite his son and explaining the reasons he shouldn't put you in jail.

Accurate enough, then, for you.

The after life is seen as a jail, or were you in a particularly difficult situation?

Why is it a necessary question?

In a City ruled by "Deities," wouldn't you believe it necessary?

I don't think it makes sense at all. A huge part of faith is being able to believe in something you can't touch, see, hear, or feel. That doesn't apply to the Deities.

Do you have no faith or care for your friends, then?

I was raised Jewish. But I've met a few gods.

Someone I care about a lot made a deal with them, they twisted it to make it worse then it should have been. I don't suggest making one unless you're willing to give up something big. Like your senses, an arm, or something like that for a temporary amount of time.

Which Gods?

Could you give me more detail? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Some of the Norse ones, some of the more powerful demon lords from Limbo that think of themselves as gods, and I'm sure there's others in there.

She wanted something very important to her from home. They requested an arm for it, she thought it'd be okay since she can regenerate. They made it where she couldn't for 3 or more days but they didn't tell her that would happen.

Curious, but I suppose circumstances and different worlds would lead to that.

Did she not expect a catch to the situation, then?

There is always a catch.

Whatever.

For the record? It's possible to believe something exists without believing in it.

How surprising, you're capable of complicating matters.

I'd hardly say these Deities are here for us, for the record. Or there, in our own world. If there are Gods, or the singular notion, they aren't the sort to look out for their kind. For that definition of believing in them, I put more stock in my own capabilities.
