Stand up comedy is extremely important to the British. They're celebrities in their own right, appearing on chat shows, radio, panel shows, movies, television. This year is the Year Of Film
In the past six months I have been a near permanent fixture in the cinema. The Muppets (twice), The Hunger Games (twice), The Avengers (thrice), Dark Shadows, Men In Black III, and, now, Prometheus.

I am tired... again
So, yesterday was relatively eventful - in comparison to all my other days at least.

Okay, so I saw Tim Burton's new film today. My history with Burton's films is very simple, I saw Beetlejuice when I was about ten and it's one of my favourite films of all time. Update on my life.
I have been doing nothing for the past few weeks as I haven't had to do any uni work, I've seen The Avengers twice (OHGODTHEFEELS), am going to see Dark Shadows tomorrow, will see Prometheus at some point, did a Once Upon A Time marathon with Sean which resulted in us staying up all night, and stayed up to stream the finale live. You know those moments when you realise just how different an adaptation is from its source material. Yeah, I'm having one of those moments.
I love The Black Cauldron, the Disney film. I grew up with it and it used to scare me but it's pretty awesome in many ways. But it is possibly the least accurate adaptation of the books that it could ever have ( Read more... ) -
