Well yes, I think it all worked out. Made up for all the horridness over the last week or so when I was convinced Fred had asked some silly Ravenclaw girl.

Its not all fantastic though. Lee is sulking now and won't talk to me. I hope I haven't messed things up for him and Fred now.

I love my dress to. Although I'm really hoping it arrives soon. Mum was altering it a bit, taking ina couple of seams. Then she was going to send it to me, but it hasn't arrive yet! *stresses slightly*

You will both sort it out. You are both such good friends to let something like this get in the way. On the night you will both be excited and nervous and you'll enjoy having the company I'm sure!

Do you have jewellry? My grannie has lent me the necklace she wore for her first Ball. It is beautiful, with a deep green stone in a pendant on a gold chain.

Oh, how exciting! Do you know what you're going to wear? I wish we had had a Yule Ball whenever we went to Hogwarts. Although, I suppose that would have meant another occasion where I would have had to fight off James's advances.
