[Cuba was out for another day of wishing he wasn't stuck in this American town, when he notices the large package by the mailbox. Opening it up he finds a familiar face....of a kind.

A. Outside the house. There is a crocodile outside the house. Cuba is grinning. That is never good.

B. Showing the crocodile the park. Hope you aren't in the water.

[Points to the crocodile.]

Well Marco isn't a 'gater. He's a crocodile. A Cuban Crocodile.

[ Crocodiles!! She does a brief doubletake before eagerly approaching Cuba. They used to roam her waters but they've since gone extinct, so she's naturally excited to see one for the first time in nearly two centuries. ]

Wow, it's been ages since I've seen one of those in person! Does it have a name?

Yup, his name's Marco. He's a Cuban crocdile. Met him when I was a kid.

It sounds like you've been friends for a long time. I bet he missed you a lot while you've been here, huh?

Really long time. Used to hide out with him and his family when I wanted to avoid Spain.

[Somewhere in the park Cuba will pass a particular northern nation with her hands on her hips, apparently telling off a tree. Oh wait no, there's a polar bear and a squirrel in the tree. They're apparently poorly behaving.

If Cuba doesn't stop to talk to her, she'll probably notice him as he goes by.]

No wait. Marco stops to look up at the squirrel....now that looks edible. Cuba stops as well, looking at Canada.]

[Marco meanwhile is looking at Canada. You look like that person Cuba spends a lot of time with. ...sigh...no biting.]

[Cuba's passing insults of all things American catches his ear, though. He glances up with an somewhat indignant look on his face.]

[He's got a pretty obvious Philadelphian accent.]

[Bslin says that a bit sourly. He can't easily distinguish the Cuban accent from other Spanish-influenced ones, so he doesn't pick up on the implication.]
