16 dieciséis: Idkmybff ....is a freaken crocodile

[Cuba was out for another day of wishing he wasn't stuck in this American town, when he notices the large package by the mailbox. Opening it up he finds a familiar face....of a kind.

A. Outside the house. There is a crocodile outside the house. Cuba is grinning. That is never good.

B. Showing the crocodile the park. Hope you aren't in the water.

[ Crocodiles!! She does a brief doubletake before eagerly approaching Cuba. They used to roam her waters but they've since gone extinct, so she's naturally excited to see one for the first time in nearly two centuries. ]

Wow, it's been ages since I've seen one of those in person! Does it have a name?

[commie_island]

[Grins and waves.]

Yup, his name's Marco. He's a Cuban crocdile. Met him when I was a kid.

[sellchelles]

[ she waves back ]

It sounds like you've been friends for a long time. I bet he missed you a lot while you've been here, huh?

[commie_island]

Really long time. Used to hide out with him and his family when I wanted to avoid Spain.

[Best days.]

Hopefully not too much.

That's actually a great idea. I bet he wouldn't come anywhere near you when you were with something with teeth that massive. They're not so scary once you get to know them, though, right?

At least you guys are together again. How does he like Mayfield so far?

[commie_island]

[Laughs at that.]

He's still afraid of Marco. They're pretty nice when you get to know them.

[And this one tends to like the people Cuba likes.]

Not too much. I think he's still trying to figure out where all the water is. I'm taken' him down to the park to the pond. So hopefully he'll like that better.

It makes me wish that they still lived at my house. They could have kept people like eyebrows and France out when I didn't want them around, although to be honest, I haven't seen France at all lately …

[ She bends down to Marco's height. Not exactly the greatest idea, but this is Seychelles. ]

I'm sure he will! Especially since I don't think people would like it if you brought him to the pool. [ not to mention all that chlorine ]

Amazing how guys like that get terrified of anything with somewhat sharp teeth.

[Marco looks at her. He's still incredibly confused, but Cuba's talking to her, so that means no biting.]

Yeah, plus all those chemicals wouldn't be good for him.

A shame they don't have a swamp or something around here.

[sellchelles]

I know, right? You'd think that a little old crocodile would be nothing with all those weapons they've got.

[ she cautiously pats Marco's head. ]

Exactly. It's too bad there's no way to build one.

[commie_island]

They're afraid of nature now. Australia says it all the time.

[Marco just looks at her.]

I wish. And then figure out some way to build an ocean.

[sellchelles]

Is it because of how long they've been away from it?

[ she flashes a big grin at Marco. ]

I've actually asked a few people if it would be possible for nations to regain their natural environments, but they said it was highly unlikely. [ frowns ]

[commie_island]

That would make some sense.

[Marco opens his mouth a little.]

Oh yeah? I suppose there wouldn't be enough room if we all did. Shame though.

[sellchelles]

Then we ought to take 'em out for an adventure or two sometime!

[ ah! he smiled back, obviously! ]

I never thought about it that way. Still, it would liven the place up a little, don't you think?

We could take them camping over to Australia's house and then accidentally leave em' there.

[Yes that's totally what it is...]

Make for an interesting walk. Go around the world on a street block.

[sellchelles]

They'll be in good hands! Australie knows what he's doing if worst comes to worst.

I'd like that. At home, I'm so far away from everyone else that it's kind of a pain to travel even though it's nice to meet new people and see new places.

Yeah....look after them.

[Well he meant more just watch them scream and panic.]

Yeah. Sometimes bein' on an island is kinda isolating isn't it.
