I like this. You have the characters down and their interaction is totally believable. A little short for my taste, but that's because your stuff is so awesome, I want it in big doses.

Aww, thanks very much! Sorry to be so brief this time around--- I've had a bit of writer's block and this was a good way to get things kickstarted again. Hopefully there will be another big dose soon!

Now see, this is the cocktease of fic. I want to see most of these as longer pieces so much it burns. Especially the making out one just because Hal has been so anti-kissing in your other pieces. And because I love all these teasy moments. Argh. I ship this so hard now.

Haha, I'm glad to hear that your interest has been so thoroughly piqued! My evil plan is working. XD

Being in a relationship with Hal is like trying to catch a wild animal. You have to let him approach you on his own terms. ^_^

What can I say? Something about this pairing just clicks!

EEEE Was so delighted to see this. I love the concept of the one word prompts, and I especially love what you did with them. Naturally, I heartily support this pairing (especially how you write them), but I really enjoyed these even though it was such a tease not having the full stories that went along with them... How much would I have to pay you to turn each into a full fic of its own? UNF.

But I have to say I LOVE how some of the sentences were so unexpected for the prompt. You kind of assume that the word would be right there, plain as day, but sometimes it was so subtle and that just hits me even more. GAWDDDDDDDDD Why do you do this to me? Well done, as always

I'm so glad you enjoyed some of the more unexpected takes! That's what I love about these one-word prompts--- they really challenge a writer in unexpected ways.

Some of these were extremely difficult to whittle down to a single sentence, I can tell you that. But they're all little tidbits that won't have a place in the next few fics that I have planned for the pairing, and I wanted to share them with you guys anyway. Sorry to be such a tease! XD

Aww, thanks. ^_^ I'm very happy that you enjoy my fics for this pairing so much!

I don't know what sort of crazy magic you do, but you always manage to get me to buy this paring every time you post. Which confuses the crap out of me, because I really don't like Hal.

But when you write these two, it's just... gah! They're so adorably domestic! How do you do it?!

How do I it? A little bit of hoodoo, a little bit of voodoo--- and a dash of Colonel Mojo. ;D

But really, I'm especially pleased to hear that you enjoy the fics in spite of any misgivings against the characters themselves. I wanted to try my hand at a pairing that was pretty far from perfect (yes, I know that applies to any pairing that includes Hal XD) but still pretty close to normal--- no high-stakes drama or romance, just two guys who get each other. I'm glad to hear that their adorable domesticity is winning you over. ^_^

Thanks so much for reading and commenting!

This is so wonderful! :D I love these kind of themed ficlets, and you've done an amazing job of capturing the characters and pairing, making it fit into the format, and making it good (not that I'm surprised about that by now! :DDD)

They're all great, but I think my favorite one was "God". “You ever feel like flying up there and just giving Him the finger? I sure did." - that captures so much of Hal's character, and actually hits quite deep.

I could go on and on, but I'll stop now XD So much love!

Thanks very much, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

"God" was actually one of the very last pieces I wrote for the challenge--- I was stuck on the prompt for ages, and then it finally clicked. Thanks for picking a favorite, I always love to know! :D
