Predictable and yet still amusing. But please, why is Hollywood so convinced that Dermot Mulroney can act? It's just not so, and wishing (paired with casting him into role after role that requires a bit more depth) won't make it that way. :\

Just saw the new movie today.

I loved it. I loved it so much. I want to see it again. I want to own it. OMG I'm in love with Michael Macfadyen's portrayal of Darcy. So wonderful. I thought Keira Knightly was great as Lizzie; it was so much more like my perception of Lizzie Bennett when I read the book, as opposed to the portrayal by Jennifer Ehle ( Read more... )

Rita and I watched Bride & Prejudice tonight. It's sorta cheezy in ways that only Bollywood films can manage to be, but it does tug at the heartstrings. I'm such a sucker. :P

My grandfather can now *walk* with aid of a walker from the television area at the senior life center to the dining room. When my grandmother told me this, it made my day. He broke his pelvis months ago, and it has been a very slow and very scary recovery ( Read more... )
