Relocation Imminence
Quick note. Our internets gets turned off here on Friday, but they are supposed to be hooked up at the new place Friday night, so hopefully that works out. I'm sorry I haven't been posting for months. Since mid-May I have been working the 2 jobs, the museum job and then a second job 3 nights a week at the vet clinic I used to work at as an undergrad, where I now take my own pets. We absolutely, completely, and totally don't know what to do and have to make some more big scary decisions that we don't have the money to have many happy options for at this point. A quick note for my fantasy book-reading friends
I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I've been reading Robin Hobb's books and I really enjoy them. Her first trilogy, the Farseer trilogy (Assassin's Apprentice, Royal Assassin, and Assassin's Quest) were quite good, though not the best. The completely fluffy little mention of the ice storms in my last post doesn't even begin to do justice to the amount of havoc wreaked here. In the slightest.
