BSO I LOVE YOU!  The 2008-2009 season looks like the best yet.

This week has been surprisingly awesome (even though I am working).  First I solved a P&A magazine puzzle all by myself on Monday night .  I'm pretty sure thats a first for me.  Then prog and I proceeded to solve at least 4 more in the same P&A magazine which is a record for us.  It was very satisfying and energizing.

Apparently there was a convention in town this week.  That means I got my last choice hotel.  And its the single ugliest hotel room I've ever stayed in.  Plus possibly the most uncomfortable.

Sometime between Feb and April they changed the security lines at the airport.  I'm sure they are meant to be helpful, but as a regular traveler I find the new lines confusing or at least they were jarring to me.  Instead of the usual first/business class and economy class lines, there are now lines based on your knowledge of TSA procedures (" ( Read more... )

Well the girls and I tried Kickass Cupcakes yesterday and I found it extremely disappointing.  It was neither kickass nor particularly cupcakey.   The cupcakes are tiny given that they cost almost $3.  The batter seems to bake into itself leaving very little cupcake when done.  The best part is the icing, which dominates the cupcakes.  Its ( Read more... )

This hotel is swank.  I have red velvet chairs.  Its very boudoir looking.  I might take pictures.  The glass shower must fit several people and there is a separate jacuzzi.  Which has a private window to the bedroom.  Its very sexy.  I like it.  Also I forgot a hairbrush so they went out and bought one for me.  I love it.

Never stay in a La Quinta.  This week has been one of my worst hotel experiences ever.  I know I know its the La Quinta.  Not really high class, but what can you do in the middle of nowhere.  Anyway I arrived Sunday night and had this to deal with ( Read more... )
