no camping this year

this is saddening. my family always goes camping for memorial day weekend. well, we did always go camping. we are not this year. in fact, we may be selling the pop-up. mom can't physically handle camping anymore. she needs vacations, not camping. it's understandable, and we are not selling the tent, but the pop-up is going, as will be the van. when ( Read more... )

If the boys and I ever manage to convince Ver to go camping with us, you're coming with us. (We'd probably be staying at a campsite, though...no hiking. Is that ok?)

Well, you know how my family enjoys the woods - lots of family, and a warm cabin to sleep in at night. Hardly "roughing it", but the point is more the family than the environs. Although the environs help when I need a little time away from said family. If it makes you feel any better, you aren't the only one who'll be missing out on camping - I kind of doubt I'll make it there from MA. I probably won't make it to D-burg to commiserate in person either, so good luck.

Oh, yeah, and have fun.
