Yoyo managed to pull everything together just in time. He wasn't as dressed up as everyone else would've been, but he looked good, and dressed himself up in white, just like he'd planned with Roll.

Picking her up, they arrived together with the freshman on his arm.

Roll, with her arm curled around Yoyo's, was blushing enough that it almost made her face match the color of her dress. Her hair was done up, and she was wearing the make-up that Dizzy helped her with. Was that... body glitter?

When they arrived to the ballroom, she gave a little gasp of awe. Everything and everyone just looked so dazzling!

Yoyo had to take a look around too. Given what little he knew about this Twilight thing, and having skipped out on last year's junior prom, things didn't look bad. The music wasn't completely lame, though it still didn't quite suit him right.

"Where too first, RL?"

It's cool. I hope you had a good time. rollbuster May 27 2009, 08:23:39 UTC
"Huh?" Roll snapped to attention, pulled out of her daze. Oh, geez. Why was she letting herself act all flaky like this? With a blush, she looked down at her shoes for a few seconds.

Oh. Oh wait! Yoyo asked her a question, didn't he?

"Um... well..." She turned her head, looking around the room. Part of her trying to make sure she had the right idea about what he asked--she was barely paying attention, and the other... she didn't really know how to answer it.

Hanataro fiddled with his jacket as he looked around the ballroom. He felt kind of silly dressed up like this, with a suit and his hair tied back in a ponytail. Even more so when someone outside the room “accidentally” sprayed him with glitter and got it all over his jacket. Maybe his father wouldn’t get mad at having to wash it all out…

He sighed and leaned against a table. As long as someone didn’t put buckets full of glitter above the dance floor, he would be fine.

Dressed more formally than usual, Kensou walked into the glittering ballroom. He was super-careful around anything that had sparkles on them, as the suit he was wearing as a rental. He perused the dance floor, the tables, the lobby, the tables again, and then the spread. He was about to hit the food area when he spotted a boy covered in glitter. Sure enough, it was Hanataro.

Kenny walked over to the boy and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey! I've been looking all over for you."

"Hey..." Hana turned at the tap on his shoulder and his eyes nearly popped out. Kenny looked... hot. The smaller boy blinked and blushed darkly at the thought. "I-I'm sorry, I just got here. You look pretty snazzy..."

"Heheh... thanks. Had to buck the trend of sparklepires, so I went with something more classic." Kenny REALLY wanted to hug Hana, but the risk of getting glitter on his rental... Ah what the hell. He hugged the smaller boy anyway, risking the extra dry cleaning charge. "I'm so glad to see you." Kenny tilted the boy's chin up and kissed him gently.

She really was not sure why she even said yes. Yoko had to practically tear her closet apart to find the right dress. Now with her arm looped with Himura's she walked beside him with a sway to her hip dressed in a sleevless black dress that clung to her body. She had the piece from a formal before for her dad's parties so the top part was just a little tight. Her hair was up in curls on top of her head and she decided to not wear the key necklace for a change.

Glancing up at Himura she frowned," so why am I here anyway?"

Hiruma decided to keep his attire somewhat simple with a black tux with red pinstripes, his cummerbund matching with a red bow tie to give it an extra touch. He wasn't entirely for coming to this event either, but the opportunity to ad fresh blackmail material to his devils handbook was too much to resist, especially with the possibility of Vegeta becoming court prince. Oh the irony. Of course, he couldn't be everywhere at once and he would need help, which is why he requested the aid of his two lovely assistants. Which reminded him...

"Hey cheeks, put this on." He said with a slightly suspicious toothy grin on his face. In his extended hand he held a silk black choker with what looked like some sort o odd stone setting in the bulk of a silver pendant.

She narrowed her eyes in suspicion," Why? I have a necklace on already," Yoko said, pointing to the jewel dangling between her breasts. Yoko sighed and turned her back briefly to him," Well? Put it on then."

Yoko lifted her chin a little as she stared up at the ceiling, feeling a bit awkward to have himura place on a choker for her.

He was hoping that Yoko would just put it on her damn self, so he wouldn't have to worry about looking like her tool at this shindig. Whatever, he could deal with whatever rumors surfaced without much of a problem.

"Tch, you ask too many damn questions." he angrily smirked as he wrapped his hands around Yoko's neck to secure her choker. Now he was starting to wonder who was manipulating who here. She must have been hanging out around him too much.

If anything, Kamina had arrived dressed to kill, vampires at least, sporting the atire of an infamous vampire hunter in gaming history sans the whip and array of weapons of course. This was a high school dance after all.

As he and Orihime entered he couldn't help but be taken aback by all the sparkle that was in the room, they really went nuts with the theme didn't they? That didn't matter to him though, he came to kick the sparkly theme to the curb Belmont style and leave any would be vampires quaking in their boots.

Finding the closest chair, Kamina placed himself on his makeshift pedestal to make his usual introduction. "Alright you damn glittery vampires! Hope ya had yer fill of blood cuz you're about to be taken out by Lord Kamina, vampire slayer!!"

Orihime was more than content to allow Kamina to take his spotlight. After all, he'd been nominated for prom king, and that was pretty darn amazing! She just grinned, following along behind him in her matching Maria costume, hair pulled up high to fall in loose chestnut curls down her back.

For as many people that seemed to dislike the theme, Orihime thought it was kind of neat, herself. The gothic atmosphere was actually rather pretty, with the ribbons, the glitter, the contrasts between dark velvet and white flowers.

She indulged in getting a good long look at the decorations, smiling to herself with her hands casually clasped in front of her. If there were any vampires, she doubted they would leap to take up Kamina on his challenge. He looked pretty tough in his Belmont attire!

Apparently there were no souls bold enough to take Kamina up on his issued challenge as everyone simply stared blankly at the boy's craziness. One would think that the school would have been used to his antics by now but he always managed to come up with something completely off the wall to shock the student body once again...and given his track record that night would not be an excepting.

"Hmph! Guess they know better than to mess with me!" With a nimble leap he dismounted from his chair, landing in an overly flashy pose. He was starting to wish he had a whip or something to use for an added effect but unfortunately they confiscated that at the door. Kill joys.

"Alright Hime! Time ta show these guys just who the hell we are!" He grinned excitedly, thrusting a fist into the air. He hadn't expected to get this into the theme, but then again he was always able to excite things with his own flare for the dramatic.

He did make the costume look good. Orihime was particularly excited about this prom; it was like combining a formal dance and Halloween costumes together in one festive event! It was even better than the masquerade ball, she thought.

When Kamina struck his pose, Orihime applauded cheerfully. "Are we the heck punch drinkers?" she asked hopefully. Someone always seemed to spike the punch, and she wanted to drink some before that happened. Punch was good! A shame that always seemed to get ruined with booze.

Buuuuuuuuut if that was the case, water would do, and then they could dance to their hearts' content.

Kallen had never been one for fanciful stories of beautiful vampire boys weeping tears of blood. The underlying morals struck her as elitist bouergoise fantasies and as for slayer types, they tended to be bombastic, macho reactionaries. Then Gert had turned her on to something called 'World of Darkness' and she'd been immediately struck by the image of werewolves as righteous ecowarriors.
Thus the sigil emblazoned in red on the back of her black longcoat, trimmed in (fake) fur. A cap with the same symbol pinned to the front added to the outfit's seeming militance, her red hair flaring out under it. Poking out of it were unexpectedly cute little dog ears, another nod to the theme.

Her hand was intertwined with Dizzy's. At the door she paused, took a deep breath and stopped through.

Damn the torpedoes. Or the stares.

Dizzy hardly seemed so militaristic. In fact, she went the vampiric route, given most of her closet mostly reflected things like that anyways. She's had an outfit saved for just such an occasion (complete with tiny decorative bat wings), letting her hair fall back fully. Sure, its frills and extraneous pink might have flashed rather thoroughly with Kallen's rough and tumble wolf look, but she thought that was perhaps what made it so special.

A girl like Dizzy and a girl like Kallen... who'd have thought, right? Still, she was more than happy to just be here with Kallen. She didn't care if people tended to stare at girls like them. She just felt... loved like this.

"Kallen, something on your mind?"

Several things were actually going through Kallen's mind. First was how different this was from the events Rufus had dragged her to. She didn't have to hide behind a smokescreen of snark with Dizzy ( ... )

Dizzy could tell there was a great deal more than simply 'nothing at all', but she also knew this was hardly the place to pry. But Kallen really did seem nervous, and she'd have to do her best to calm the other. Perhaps petting her... what with the wolf motif and all. Ah well.

"Just thirsty for now. I'm not terribly hungry," she mentioned, being honest about it. Part of her wanted to hold off on eating anything until AFTER she was out of her corset. That thing just became painful if she ate too much while wearing it.
