I bought a racehorse.

Well, now an ex-racehorse. She comes home Tuesday.

My period came while I was pooping and reading a poem about Jesus in his LA apartment...

And there's something poetic about that.

Wow. It has been awhile! I'm glad that LiveJournal still exists. I tend to go back through my entries to check on the legitimacy of certain memories. For example, yesterday I looked up the gotcha date of my cat. I was thinking we picked him up or he was born in February, but we brought him in in June.

I need to go back to therapy.

I have done a lot of thinking and I have come to the conclusion that it is in my best interest to not move out of the city and to not get a horse this year. This is because I want to focus my energy and money on getting better as a writer and filmmaker and making sure that career is stable enough to take care of me. My first week of working at Google is over! It was an okay week, complete with a half day on Thursday because our software broke, so I was sent home early (paid all day). I've made the decision to put off saving my extra income for a horse this year and instead I will be putting my money toward funding film and art projects. Specifically projects that will benefit LGBTQ, women, and POC. With any luck, the things we make will earn money that I can put toward my horse.
