Today was one of my more creative, and productive days. I got the laundry done early this morning as I had a date with a fella. He's Greg and lives up in Greenwood, I think just north of 85th. After a great day with my youngest sister in Olympia. Left here around 9:15AM, a few minutes later than planned and got onto the freeway south to 4th Ave S in the SODO neighborhood to get gas at the Arco station. Yep, since it's been cloudier and cooler the past few days, today, I got in a mood to want to cook, and will get the rest of what I need, and make, (finally!) beef stock to stash in the freezer. I have a huge ol' bag of aromatics, but will need an onion and a carrot, and a stalk of celery, and a package of cheap stew meat, toss it all onto a baking ( Read more... )

Went for a brief walk north to Lakeview and the Lakeview overpass over I-5 and just watched the traffic flow by below in both directions and watched the last remains of the day turn to night.
