My dad passed away late last night. His heart stopped in his sleep.

I can't even think. I have my phone, but will probably be unavailable for a while.

Mandarin is adjusting really well to the apartment, especially considering that he's been an outside cat all his life. He's been spending a fair amount of his time under the bed, but when I call him out, he comes out willingly and purrs up a storm. I adopted Mandarin from Jon's house, so I now have a feline companion! :3 Jon courageously gave him a bath yesterday (he was filthy and covered in scratches/scabs from his adventures outside) and we brought him to my apartment after work today. With the announcement of FFXIV, I figured it was finally time for me to invest in a Playstation 3. I decided to say farewell to my Beatmania IIDX games (*sniff*) and made about $380 by selling them on eBay. My payments came through, and as of today, I have joined the ranks of PS3 owners. Whee! And now I'm broke again!

There's a huge fighting game tournament called DEVASTATION being held in Phoenix next month at the same place I just went for the Pokemon tournament.
