All day and all night, I've been thinking of what to say- and yet I come back to being completely in shock. It's so surreal, and I can't even begin to imagine what you must be going through.

I can't express how sorry I am with words, or with anything really. I can only tell you I'm so very, very sorry this had to happen now so unexpectedly. Like many others, I'm most certainly here for you if you should need anything- anything at all.

Please, take all the time you need. Regardless what is, your friends will always be here for you, so there is no rush.

Once again I am so truly sorry Derek, I can't say it enough. My thoughts are most definitely with you and your family.
