FINAL FANTASY XIV

Although nothing could top that news for me, other exciting announcements at E3 were:
- Golden Sun DS! Whooooo, handheld RPG goodness!
- FFXII's Spring 2010 US release date. It's still too damn far too away, but at least we have a date.
- Super Mario Galaxy 2! Definitely unexpected, but Mario Galaxy was probably my favorite 3D Mario game, so I'm looking forward to it.
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii! I absolutely love 4-player games like this and Zelda: Four Swords. Online gaming can't compare to three other people sitting on your couch.
- The official reveal of The Last Guardian (the new Team Ico project). Shadow of the Colossus ranks up with the best games I've ever played, so my expectations for this title are high.
- Metroid: Other M sounds very cool. Team Ninja makes fantastic action games, so I expect quality from this one.
- Mario and Luigi RPG 3! I was actually beginning to think it wasn't going to be released in the US. I'm relieved.
