I hate this fucking day. This day needs to be slowly dipped into a vat of lukewarm acid while red ants are poured onto the rope suspending it. It needs to be slowly consumed, from both bottom and top, while I stand on a dais somewhere above, laughing maniacally.
That's how much this day needs to die. -
I feel both like a horrible person, and slightly vindicated. It's a weird feeling.
I want to make it perfectly clear that I feel AWFUL for my reaction to this. I have nothing against the man personally, I'm sure he was a great guy, and his book was a crucial addition to how we look at American history and politics. He made a ton of very interesting, and relevant points, and brought the fight of the little guy to the forefront ( Read more... ) -

Got stuck in a lockdown in the Capitol building! It was...surprisingly unexciting!
Other than that, the trip is going well, even though I really am not enjoying being back in the cold; I like my 72 degree winters, thank you very much. But it's been fun nonetheless. I'll be back home on the 1st! -
