• I went to feather_quill's St. Patrick's Day party last Saturday. It was great to catch up with friends I haven't seen in a while and play games and win prizes. My favorite is the green scavenger hunt which we always play this time of the year. • I went to see Valentine's Day with friends today. The woman in front of us at the entrance was angrily arguing with the ticket taker. She apparently wanted to see the "Harry" movie but her ticket said something else. I got home about an hour ago after attending feather_quill's Olympics party. It was really great to get together with friends to watch the opening pomp and pageantry. The opening started off on a somber note in the wake of the tragic accident of the Georgian luger. I hope something can be done to add more protection to the barriers. Valentine's Day is in three days and the airwaves are inundated with retailers hoping to take advantage of that fact. One of the weirdest radio commercials I've heard this week was from Trader Joe's. I got back yesterday from my New Year trip to Tahoe. It was exhausting, but so much fun. I will do a recap later this week when I have sufficient rest.
