My fantasy football lost in large fashion.  Aaron Rodgers put up spectacular numbers, but since my WRs and TE didn't show up and the Pats D let Chad Henne throw for over 400 yards my doom was sealed.  Next week had best be different.

Two things about my Old English Sheepdog, Darwin.  1) Bad Dog.  He has started getting into the upstairs litterbox.

When dogs start eating stuff like that, it usually means there is some kind of nutritional deficiency. It's a start to finding out why good dog did bad things. ^_^

I don't know. He's eaten the same food for a while. Definitely hasn't changed in the past two years. His energy is the same, his coat is fine...though subtle behavior changes may be apparent before physical ones. I'll have to do some research to see if the nutritional make-up of his dog food has changed recently.

I'm with Snow_fall, only it begs the question: what nutrition is there in cat poo?

I hope you catch good pics of the butterfly emerging. Fascinating stuff. Beautiful.

I've heard that cat's digestive systems aren't terribly sophisticated. Their poop is very similar to their food, which is why it is a bad thing to let a dog eat cat food--they develop a fast liking to the contents of the litterbox. But Darwin doesn't have access to the cats' food, so that isn't it.

I wish I had taken the damn pictures every day, even though it looked the same as the day before. I just hope I am around when it emerges!

Firefly is awesome. The characters are just so great, and the show has such a fun atmosphere. It's a crime it got canceled so early. :/

When they sell raise-your-own-butterfly kits, they give you a kind of box with a clear plastic (just flimsy stuff, like seram wrap) window. that way if it emerges when you're not around, it's not fluttering off all by itself.

IT IS A CRIME! I can't believe, among all the garbage that gets renewed season after season, that got cancelled. It is such a wonderful ensemble cast.

Soooo disappointing that there are only what...15? episodes. And I only have one and the movie left. WAH!

She's a really timid cat, but when she comes out of her shell and wants attention, she's quite persistent :)
