Not much to say.  New LO.  Thank god.  The Halloween black/orange silhouette was cute at first, but made my eyes bleed after a few minutes.  Looking at it for a week was verging on torture.

Car is back.  Bad battery.  A monetary set-back, but not a major one.

My sister and mom are arriving Friday for a visit of unspecified length.  My house is on the fucking filthy side; cleaning is the name of the game this week.

My fantasy football lost in large fashion.  Aaron Rodgers put up spectacular numbers, but since my WRs and TE didn't show up and the Pats D let Chad Henne throw for over 400 yards my doom was sealed.  Next week had best be different.

I picked up A Feast for Crows on Saturday night.  It is the fourth book in A Song of Ice and Fire series, the last one of my reread before I get to run out and buy/power up the Nook and dowload A Dance with Dragons.  Now that I'm getting into it (currently on p 106), I'm realizing that I barely remember any of it.

The old one I put up for spring.  This one seems summery to me--enchanted forest or whatever.  I like it.

Today Scout and I finished her room, more or less.  There are still a few posters that need hung and she wants a new hamper and garbage can to match the coloring, but I shampooed the rug and moved it into her room, took off the ugly old curtain ( Read more... )
