So, a while back I talked about Avengers: Infinity War, and how it was the culmination of a decade of Marvel movies that led up to the ultimate cliffhanger. So, how does said cliffhanger get resolved?
Let's find out!
CUE SPOILERS UNDER CUT, SO, YOU KNOW, FOREWARNED.

(Maybe Odin was right and Thor really is the God of Hammers. Now that would be comedy gold...)
And yeah, I wanted Hawkeye to make the plunge. I didn't know who was going to do it, but I wanted him to go.

I enjoyed "Endgame" overall, but I found the Girl!Power moment rather cheesy, thought that Fatboy Thor was way overdone (in a "funny once" way), and HATED that they killed off Iron Man. I know it's because of Reasons *cough*RDJ costs too much money*cough*, but he so was my favorite! *sniffle*
Must rewatch on DVD, methinks ... now where's my 2019 Christmas list?

Regarding your peeves...
1) the Girl Power moment was pretty forced and contrived, I liked the idea but it was too obvious.
2) I liked the idea of Thor letting himself slide into a depressive spiral of boozy slacking to try to forget his failure. Yes, five years of that would give him some chub. Is the joke overplayed? Perhaps, yeah. But I like the concept. God knows if I were in his shoes, I'd have done the same.
3) I wanted both Iron Man and Captain America to die heroically. I expected Cap to die, not Iron Man, so I was pretty surprised by that turn. But I'm glad Cap got a happy ending and retirement. I was honestly hoping more Avengers would die, just to make it more grim and gritty.
Here's hoping they'll release an Infinity War two-pack Blu-Ray with all the bonus features and stuff for both movies, because I'm all in for that.
