I read back over my Live Journal today for the first time in almost a year......it's amazing how much my life has changed. My last entry was May 23rd, which ironically was my father's last birthday. I recently found out that the son of a friend/acquaintance of mine has been accused of molesting a small child. He is also a child - maybe 12 or 13, but *much* older than the girl he supposedly touched, so it's not a puppy love got outta hand kinda thing. April Fools Day, Mother Nature decided to remodel my house.....complete with a full-size indoor wading pool. We had over 14.5 inches of rain fall in 24 hours. Hurricane Ivan dropped 16 inches, so this is just shy of a hurricane without the wind. My house was sitting in 2' of water with at least 8" inside the whole place ( Read more... )

For the past several years, my clothing has increasingly descended into a monochromatic array of pieces because the only things that were available, were available in black, white, grey and two vomitous colors for variety.
