Operation treadmill moves to phase 2

Paging Guitar Hero-ics
I know that at least one of you out there has played Guitar Hero with a standard PS2 controller.
How do you get star power enabled? D-pad, select button...GH Encore: Rocks the 80s refuses to go into star power mode. (Though we can do it with GH III.)

It's time for another good idea, bad idea
Good idea: Inverting the bottom of the sushi tray, since the soy sauce for dipping is in the top lid, as I consolidate dinner dishes to throw away.
Bad idea: turning the tray back to its normal orientation while carrying it to the trash can.
(Thankfully, Clorox wipes clean soy sauce very nicely off of hardwood.) -

They're doing some work on the road past my neighbourhood. I was led to believe that they're widening, but so far it just seems to be utility work and pouring new sidewalks.
I hope they're planning to change the level of the road, though, because they just put in this fire hydrant, and it's about two feet below the current grade. Of ( Read more... ) -
