Yesterday morning I went out for a quick 2 miler to stay loose for the long run today; end of the tenney pier; lots of stretching and a stop for ab workout. Used the old shoes; I'm going to have to retire them soon because the heel plate and padding is almost completely worn out. Yesterday was the first day of spring. Today we are getting 10 inches of snow, and I'm really bummed out about it. I would like nothing more than to do my long run today, but I am NOT trudging 14 miles through the snow to do it. Alright, so I made it out on one run, not too bad considering the rest of the trip. :D I did my run in the marsh, which I always really enjoy.



Too much drinkin for it to be a really productive spring break, but I'm enjoying not exercising my brain or body for a little bit. Such a slacker!

Oak Creek run out along old ryan road. Map my run says 3.23 miles, which felt about right; I did it in under 30 (29:56) with one stop at 17 for stretching. On Friday in Milwaukee the weather was just beautiful, and I got myself out for a long 15 mile or so run (I was on the bike path for some of it, which they don't plow like in madison, so it was kind of like running in a stream of water most of the time.)
