It seems that my left eye is now following the right's slide into disaster. The doc said on Friday that there is a slim possibility that the vitreous will finish detaching without tearing the retina -- the same amount of chance that hell will freeze over -- but a chance. Funny incident at school today: I had a couple children (immature freshmen) jockeying to try and get up next to me at my desk to discuss their essay grades. It is CSAP time again. Time to not teach my classes and instead walk aimlessly around a room for hours at a time watching students work on a test that doesn't have any basis in their reality. For quite a while, I have been considering some body art. I've narrowed it down between having my nipples pierced or getting a small tattoo on my lower back (ok, the derriere). The tattoo would be of either a turtle or a butterfly. Any advice, comments, suggesstions would be welcome as I debate this issue! =)
