It seems that my left eye is now following the right's slide into disaster. The doc said on Friday that there is a slim possibility that the vitreous will finish detaching without tearing the retina -- the same amount of chance that hell will freeze over -- but a chance. Unfortunately that means I get to wait for something to happen. I'm actually hoping for soonish, so as not to mess around with MileHiCon, but even better would be for it to just never happen.
On a side note, I just found out that someone at my school is leaving -- who has a job that I envy. So ... to apply or not to apply? The good part is that it really would be less work. The bad (ok, not really) part is that I would have to re-learn and newly learn a whole bunch of stuff about computers. (Can you hear the inner geek leaping for joy?) So .. any opinions out there?
