Gabe, my man! As luck would have it, I've been having some trouble tracking down Kilroy regarding my own lost invitation, so it may simplify everything a great deal (and solve both of our problems!) if I just filled this little plus one niche you've got on your hands!

Why not? There's no possible reason for Kilroy and May not to invite me except that there was clearly some sort of clerical mixup! Kilroy knows how to throw a party, and as such he knows that a fundamental rule of any good one is my presence. Why, you'd garner significant party cred simply by bringing me along!

If I profess a deep, secret crush on you, does it increase or decrease my likelihood of getting the spot?
