So about that novel thing...
If I've written close on to 10k words with three stories that are closely related, how well do you think I'm doing with that "nope, not starting a novel this year" resolution? -
This writing thing, I've got it going on
So I've completed three story drafts and am 44 words short of 2k on a fourth (which I should easily be able to get in the 5k to 7.5k range). Two are linked, the other two are completely separate. Future Plans
2500 words into a second story, which just happens to be in the same setting and using some of the same characters as the story I just finished. This one is going to be on the short side as well, meaning that it probably won't crack the 5k barrier ( Read more... ) -
New Year, new story, new post!
I finished writing a draft of a story yesterday. It was my first one in over two years. I was actually proactive even and sent it off to a number of people, mainly to see if it worked as a story at all, or if I should scrap it and see what can be made from the useful bits after I sort out the parts that don't work ( Read more... ) -

This is an explicitly hoppy beer, and bills itself as such. That said, this isn't the hoppiest brew I've ever had (I think Ruination takes the cake on that one), bu it is a punch in the tongue with the hoppiness. A very full bodied ( Read more... ) -

Style: Scottish Ale
Brewed in the Orkney Isles, this is a small batch ale that is hand bottled and then a small amount of that is exported out. From what I understand only 300 bottles a year are imported into the US.
