Okay, honestly, all Rorschach blots look like pelvises to me, but I tried to move beyond that. I see a coyote's head, kind of glaring menacingly at me. The more I think of it, the scarier it is. Eep!

Onigiri!
I made my very first onigiri today! Just one to try it out, but I made a crapload of rice, so I'll probably make one or two for lunch tomorrow as well. For my filling, I used bonito flakes and soy sauce, and mixed in with the rice (which is just your typical short grain sushi rice, cooked in my rice cooker) is wasabi furikake. So, saw Angels and Demons today. Such a chef, pfft.
Sammi came over today, and I decided to make bread without my bread machine, for the first time ever. By hand! I made French peasant bread with fresh rosemary in it, and felt very 17th century peasanty. ;) I also made fresh lemonade, which is also a 17th century French creation, but, you know, not for peasants.
