In the common room, one might notice a brand new sign. Not too far from it, two students. A tall and lanky young man (though he's almost in his 30s), with brown hair and gray eyes, and a small dark-haired young lady are sitting by a desk and chatting a touch feverishly.

Tony's been rather scarce lately. A bit of depression followed by the usual desire to not do anything was creeping up on him and he'd decided that enough was enough and he wasn't going to mope. He didn't have any reason to after all.

So, that's why he's wandering around and happens on the sign.

"Huh." He knows Paul at least, but not the girl and he's not too sure about this idea of theirs...

Zillah looks up, excited. "Are you interested in joining?"

Paul looks up from the notes he was making, smiles a little when he recognizes Tony.

"Hey - Hi Tony - this is my friend Zillah."

"Hey Paul." Tony smiles easily at both Paul and Zillah. If one didn't know any better, he might look like he's flirting...

"School was never my strong point. What kind of classes are you looking at having?"

Alphonse is always interested in learning and teaching and the sign instantly catches the giant little boy's eye. He doesn't know either of the people named though... at least, he doesn't think so.

"Oh! I wonder what kind of lessons they want to offer..."

Like Al could turn down learning.

Zillah looks over at Alphonse, intrigued and yes, excited still.

"Any kind!" she answers brightly.

Paul smiles a bit - Zillah's enthusiasm is endearing. "Hi," he tells the -- boy -- armor -- er. Hm. "-- I suppose that would depend on your interests. We're also looking for instructors at the moment."

"Oh! I like all sorts of subjects, but history and alchemy are my best ones."

A potential professor wanders in, examining the sign quizzically, then approaching the desk, hands in pockets, a look of curiosity and interest in his visible eye. "Ahhh, I see an institution of higher learning is in the process of forming. When, might I ask, do classes start?"

Zillah grins. "As soon as we get everything together!"

So as not to delay anyone, I'll assume Paul isn't there right now, if that's okay with yinz. He'll be wandering in from an emergency trip to the library on Monday, er. >.>

"Hmmm... I do have doctorate degrees in general medicine and in surgery," he says. "Might you be interested in hosting a class in first aid? I would be honored to teach it."

Wow! These guys can't imagine what they just did to poor Adrian's heart and mind - he's been the perpetual student even after he graduated from college, and with him training with Lissa it became sort of a habit. Though, honestly speaking, the idea of teaching or tutoring people does attract him as well.

So there he is, carefully reading the sign for the third time, still undecided whether to approach the two people or not.

Zillah looks over at him, and waves cautiously. "Are you interested?" she asks.

Paul doesn't want to crowd this one - he seems indecisive. He'll stay out of it for now, so as not to make him feel like he's getting ganged up on.

Adrian smiles at Zillah. "Hullo. My name's Adrian. And I think the answer for you is yes - I'd like to make myself useful somehow. Since I arrived here there hasn't been too much for me to do around."

Now this lady has always nurtured a passionate love for her "job": it's what she does with 100% pleasure, in spite of the nerves, the issues, and all. When she sees the sign, she stops to ponder - to think if it weren't be nice to be able to instruct a willing student or two in this art as well. Of course, it would be a practical course, but nevertheless a useful one.

Determined, she gets closer to the two people, and bows slightly before them. "May I interrupt you, pray?"

Zillah smiles and nods. "Of course! Are you interested?"

Paul smiles a little, gives the lady a polite greeting. "-- I'll be right back, I'm very sorry, Miss."

He needs the toilet. >.>

Favrielle nods curtly in his direction, then turns her attention back on Zillah. "I believe you are looking for scholars and students alike, am I wrong?"
