In the common room, one might notice a brand new sign. Not too far from it, two students. A tall and lanky young man (though he's almost in his 30s), with brown hair and gray eyes, and a small dark-haired young lady are sitting by a desk and chatting a touch feverishly.

The sign?

A potential professor wanders in, examining the sign quizzically, then approaching the desk, hands in pockets, a look of curiosity and interest in his visible eye. "Ahhh, I see an institution of higher learning is in the process of forming. When, might I ask, do classes start?"

Zillah grins. "As soon as we get everything together!"

So as not to delay anyone, I'll assume Paul isn't there right now, if that's okay with yinz. He'll be wandering in from an emergency trip to the library on Monday, er. >.>

"Hmmm... I do have doctorate degrees in general medicine and in surgery," he says. "Might you be interested in hosting a class in first aid? I would be honored to teach it."

"Oh, that'd be wonderful!"

"Good to hear," he says. "I would need to teach in the morning or the early afternoon: I have a student that I'm personally tutoring at the moment," he adds, adjusting his eyeglasses as he speaks.

"Oh, we're flexible, don't worry! It's kind of easy-going, I think."

Perhaps then, Muraki or Zillah might notice Paul returning with five heavy volumes under his arm. He'll grin when he sees Muraki - he was hoping the 'good' Doctor might be interested in joining their efforts.

And if yinz don't mind, here he is? Intended order was Commenter/Zillah/Paul, which makes Muraki the next one up, if that's alright?

Muraki glances up at Paul, smirking just a bit. "Doing a little light reading there, Mr. Paul?" he asks, with an oddly dignified air of mischief.

Sounds great to me! The comment notif problem caused me to miss this one completely -.-

She looks over as well, surprised. "What's all that?" she asks.

Paul grins, wanders over to offer a handshake after he dropped his load off on the table.

"You can blame Dr. Muraki for this one," he tells Zillah, then winks at his friend.

If Muraki is careful to the titles, he'll note that several on there are recommendations or works cited by Belanger on the matter of energy vampirism.

Eying the books, Muraki chuckles, noting the titles. "Ahh, I see you've been following the leads which I offered to aide your research. By any chance were you considering a class on vampirism in legend and popular culture?" he asks, with an almost bantering tone.

"--That'd be neat!" she says. "WHat were you researching, Paul?"

Paul holds up a book, it reads, On The Ills and Virtues of Energy Vampirism: Controlling the Inner Phage.

"Still vampires," he replies, "if of another sort."

Muraki smiles, eying the book and adjusting his eyeglasses. "Now there's one I haven't seen before. I was about to issue a caveat lector on Konstantinos's Vampires: The Occult Truth, if you'd found that one since it's a bit speciesist: While it's true that there are highly dangerous energy vampires, the author got a bit... lurid about the fact to the point of overlooking the majority of people with the condition who are sane and stable, living relatively normal and productive lives."

She laughs a little. "You're obsessed, Paul."
