Just my luck

Of course, everyone knows that when something good happens to me, something bad is to follow. Actually, a string of bad. Weeks of bad. And in a lot of cases, this seems to always happen when I really, really need something or am really, really looking forward to something. In almost all of these situations, it can be narrowed down to nothing other ( Read more... )

Well, darling, you and I have already discussed this in great length. I know you're feeling down right now and I can understand why you're so angry and frustrated. I've been through these sorts of frustrations too. Just try and stay positive - I think that this will work out after all. I think that there has definitely been a mistake and it's admirable that you're willing to march down there in person to solve this - I know you want this more than anyone else in the world right now. Good luck, sweetheart. I'll be praying, non-religiously, for you. <33333

It's really hard to stay positive in this type of situation, where I am so close to having something good happen and then something completely unrelated gets in the way. They're getting thousands of dollars a year from me and they need me to "qualify" for a job there? Fuck that. They've fucked me over so many times already, especially with money. Like, say, charging me $200 every year for a health plan I don't need and making me fill out a form and stand in a line for two hours in order to get it back. The education system has some really fucked up policies. This situation has made my patience for the education system non-existent.

I can understand why they qualify people - because some people DO need it more than others - but I agree that it's unfair they would target someone that has a high income earning parent. That's stupid. Just because your parent's income is high doesn't mean that they'll actually GIVE you money for school.

Welcome to bureaucracy, darling. <3

I'm just going to go into politics, become the Prime Minister and abolish bureaucracy. Somehow.

As if my university hasn't caused me enough fucking problems. Money ones too. Canada Pension has caused me just as many. Losing my goddamn form and making me wait, what, five months for my money? Anything run by the goverment is shit.

Thanks, sweetie. I really hope it's just an error. I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard. Especially now that I have to wait three days before I can even call. Ugh.

*hugs*
