Er...I know I'm a little late, jumping on the bandwagon, but maybe I'm not really joining everyone. This is more of a rant than anything, so please feel free to skip over my little LJ entry.

Okay, this is probably really pathetic, but my recent discovery that LJ has more attractive layouts for nonpaying members has spurred my desire to post. What can I say? I'm a shallow shallow person.

Hee! I think it's funny that Oh!Great used Hikaru no Go as a reference for the game of go he had in Tenjou Tenge. When you take a look at the books he used as reference for things like martial arts, robotics, motorcycles, kimonos, car crashes, and even bondage, using another manga is pretty high praise. I'm not usually one for paying attention to the gender of authors, but this just blew me away. I'm amazed that Arakawa Hiromu is a woman (I'm hopeless with figuring out gender based on Japanese names...but isn't Hiromu a male name anyway?
