I went to Tulsa last weekend. I got on a plane which was paid for by the chorus I direct, and it took me to Dallas and then to Tulsa and I spent the weekend in a very nice hotel which was paid for by Sweet Adelines Int'l. I was taken to Sweet Adelines Headquarters for a tour with 29 other novice directors from all over the world, fed very well, ( Read more... )

I'm supposed to be at Mom's, but once again I've procrastinated so I'm scanning pictures that I'm supposed to return to her before I go and work for her. She's probably wondering when I'm going to show up. *sigh* I'm a bad daughter.

I just spent 2 days with my new quartet, and it was lovely! We really had a great session. our Christmas music is learned and we're now working on a show package for after Christmas. We tried on our new outfits that we'll be wearing for Christmas and ate wonderful Chicken Enchiladas and other goodies. I made an apple pie and got good reviews. ( Read more... )

Just got home from a Barbershop Weekend and UPS in Tacoma. I got lots of good info to inflict on the chorus I direct in Tacoma, Commencement Bay Chorus. What a lovely campus!
