Seems like an awful lot of my family has January birthdays, and we're all going to be together Saturday to celebrate them! Yay!
I've been working on the house the past week with Vaughn, but it doesn't seem like we've made much progress. It's slow going. Tuesday he came over all day but we spent an awful lot of the time teaching me how to play Warcraft so I can kick some butt on Saturday when the family's all over here. Ha Ha!
I hope hobody breaks their necks walking to the house from the car. It's still icy here and the cars just keep packing the snow down. Jack fell yesterday and his shoulder and arm are really sore. At least it was AFTER he got home from bowling.
I am going to Habitat for Humanity to work today at about noon and then to Tacoma to direct the chorus, so I suppose I'll be busier than a hive full of bees tomorrow trying to pull the Family get-together together for Saturday. It will just be good to see everybody.
Yesterday I went with Laurajean to see "Phantom of the Opera." Then we went out for coffee and played checkers. That was nice.
There's this gal, Leah, in Sequim who's become a member of the Grand Olympics Chorus. She sings Bass and has a wonderful voice and is so excited about the music that she is anxious to get into a quartet, so I've been asking Jeanie if she wants to audition Leah as bass for our quartet now that Rose has decided that it's just too much work for her. I hope Leah find something before she becomes frustrated.
