For the first time, BC Place is now missing its roof. Well, not really missing, so much as deflated. A huge section ripped free around 1pm yesterday, and the owners of the stadium apparently had no choice but to let all the air out. Finally got around to buying a new laptop last Wednesday after work (the screen on the old one having died well over a year ago.) Hurrah!

The teaser trailer for the new Transformers movie is out (.zip format), but shows only a few blurred frames of a giant, transforming robot. I guess that's why they call it a "teaser"... :-P

Finally got around to seeing X-Men: The Last Stand yesterday. On a first viewing, I'd have to rank it a bit behind X2, and maybe a bit ahead of X-Men. Bryan Singer's absense is noticable, as this installment seemed to skimp on characterization, but made up for it with plenty of action, and a few surprises that I didn't see coming.
