I experienced my first earthquake this week- a mild tremor stemming from a 5.9 magnitude quake in Virginia. I was in my office at work and felt mild shaking. Sylvester isn't feeling well tonight. He was fine earlier today, but I took him to work with me to check his blood pressure, and while there, I fed him canned food. Bad me. Didn't make it to the morning spin class- I didn't sleep well last night, so I slept in (until Sylvester started harassing me for breakfast). Looks like I'll be heading to the 5:30 class instead, which works better really since once I come home and shower, I don't have to blow dry my hair to prepare for going anywhere. Yay- finally some rain here, and how. It's dry as a bone and has been since we moved here- I think it's only rained a couple of times since we moved here, and very little at that. WTF body? I start doing spin class twice a week and yoga 1-2 times a week, cut back a little on the calories, and you GAIN weight? That had better be muscle under there.
