I received the announcement today that the 26th Annual Ohio 24 Hour Science Fiction Marathon will blast off at noon Saturday, March 28 at the Drexel Theatre, Bexley.  The film list hasn't been posted yet, but they are including Logan's Run and Star Trek:  The Wrath of Khan in this schedule.

I finished reshelving my cds with all of my 2008 purchases in the proper order and updated my database.  I found a copy of "Stardate Unknown" by The Vulcan Freedom Fighters that had somehow been switched with my Children of the Bong "Sirius Sounds" cd and returned them to their proper spaces ( Read more... )

After a quick investigation of the Hackensaw Boys website, I have learned that Shawn David Galbraith (Plang Tang) is currently handling the banjo for the upcoming tour, and Jimmy is back to work with Stelling Banjos.  David Sickmen (Shiner) is also on the sidelines and has been replaced by Ward McCann Harrison (Spits), so April 22nd will bring two ( Read more... )

January started out with bad news that turned into good news by the end of the month.  I had to have an MRI of my brain on MLK day in order to confirm the existance of a probable acoustic neuroma that would need to be removed via surgery.  10 days later, I finally got word that the MRI results were negative (yes, I have a brain, and, no, they didn' ( Read more... )
