But that only becomes an issue if the book gets made into a movie, by which point, it's been published and the big hurdle is over. How it looks when written is currently the concern.

Julie is a no; it has a lot of sharp connotations, pop culturally. Kelly, I'll consider.

Kelly works, if you want a fairly common name.

I'd suggest Clodagh as a more unusual alternative, 'cos it usefully keeps all the original consonants in place. =:o}
