10. I'm recording tonight! Yes. I am spending tonight at Mystic Fig Studios, where I will lay down the vocal lines for 'Red Roses and Dead Things' (the title song) and 'Mad Science Love Song,' as well as a scratch vocal for 'Dear Gina' (included on the album thanks to your votes!). What's awesome about my day?

My boss decided to trust a major brief in a pretty sizable case to me because he's fed up with the other attorney that was tryng to work on it.

one could say that your "10-great things" day goes to 11.

I'm happy with my life, really, but that's a quality to envy.

One thing that is awesome about my day is that my boss told me I did a really good job on a brochure I designed yesterday and that the company owner was "so proud." Another is seeing you gain admittance to SFWA; now you have arrived! (And you can guest all your friends into the SFWA suite at cons...hint, hint! :-) )

Hurrah!

My day is awesome because I have finished the part of an annoying-as-hell project that was dropped on me late this afternoon, and now only need six pieces of data, all from people who are intimidated by me, and will fork it over, rather than have me stalk them with the six-foot pencil. Though stalking people with the six-foot pencil is not without its merits.

And Soren got me a Leatherman! I can dismantle the office!

My day is awesome because:

I seem to be over the bug that made me take a sick day yesterday.

I took a break from work this afternoon to have a very nice chat with a friend.

I visited Tom Smith this evening, and he's doing well.

Freakazoid! is out on DVD, and I now have a copy.

We leave for Denver on Saturday.
