10. I'm recording tonight! Yes. I am spending tonight at Mystic Fig Studios, where I will lay down the vocal lines for 'Red Roses and Dead Things' (the title song) and 'Mad Science Love Song,' as well as a scratch vocal for 'Dear Gina' (included on the album thanks to your votes!). I am officially a member of SFWA!

Which means you can now vote in the elections, recommend works for the Nebula and Norton, vote in the Nebulas, and get access to the private SFWA newsgroups on SFF Net.

Let me know if you need any guidance. If you have a password for the private SFWA areas on the website, you can also read Nebula-recommended fiction...

Dude. I followed your link to see Ripley. We are having meetings at the office this week (we are on lunch break), and the coworker next to me who works in the Bay Area promptly said in surprise, "That looks like Ripley!" And was utterly stunned when I said "well yes, it is." Hehe. Way to mess with his sense of place....

The planet has reminded SoCal that we are insignificant. No reports of the dead rising, though, or of oddly scented ground-clouds infecting all and sundry.

What's awesome about your day?

Well, I'm listening to 6 sparkly new CDs (to me) from Gaia Consort which I bought this weekend, and now I hear that one of my other favourite artists is trying to bring out her new CD before the end of January 2009. ^.^

No chance on a release in time for the eoy* holidays?

The Summoning is good fun. She does YA as well as she does adult fiction, and that, in my experience, is a rare talent.
