I completely agree. Anyone who is incapable of making rational choices before acting shouldn't be a warden.

I mostly agree with all of this. The 'undermining' bit becomes a bit of an issue, though, when we're pretty much all at once saying here "Don't try to tell me what to do with my Inmate" but are also technically trying to establish that somebody other than you can read your behavior as inappropriate and can have you punished for it.

Um. I'm only new at this and seeing both sides is kind of weird and so I'm just getting used to it but I think all wardens should act responsibly to the inmates and to each other. They're We're here to help the inmates graduate and be better people, in particular our assigned inmate, so that's what we should be doing.

[11-12 is mostly going to sit quietly during the meeting otherwise, being new he's still taking it all in.]

Perhaps we could consider fostering a more... cooperative atmosphere, between us? It's somewhat as if we're all isolated islands, and I've had success when collaboration is achieved between wardens.

This in itself is a good step to that, of course, but other steps as well might be beneficial.

I agree with this. Cooperation will just work better.

Having gone through with the probation lark, way back when, I can say it helps if you aren't actin' like you're on their case, all the time.
