Ok, I try not to brag too much about Ian. I don't show picts around at the office and I try not to crow about his various accomplishments too much to my childless friends. However, this is different.

Irony is...
Spending the last 5 days getting over the stomach flu and then getting a flu shot the next day. -
So not fair!
So I started jogging, in central Texas, just as late fall/summer began. I have sweated like a pig - I sweated so much that I left salt stains all over my clothes. I've grown muscles, I've loosened up joints, I've taken pain meds ( Read more... ) -

I find that I cannot listen to any version of 'The Stolen Child' without thinking of movie AIAnd now, you know, being a parent of a young boy, I'm not sure I can really watch that movie again. I just don't know if I can handle the abandonment scene now ( Read more... )
