Anyway, they fix up a wicker basket with pink fabric scraps and paint pink flowers on her shell with food coloring and a gigantic S as well. Mary Anne refers to Logan as a ‘natural father’

I find this shit REALLY offensive to all the REAL fathers out there. It's easy to be a dad, or a parent in general, when you aren't having to deal with a kid misbehaving, screaming, crying, waking you up at night, needing you to pay for stuff, needing you to spend time with them when you're in desperate need of rest, and all that other stuff that goes along with parenting. Logan is carrying around a mother-fucking egg that may as well be pencils in a pencil case. That doesn't make him a "natural father." It makes him a kid with a homework assignment.

I find this shit REALLY offensive to all the REAL fathers out there.-Excellent point! Anyone can make a baby; but to be a real parent?! Takes alot and these assholes think it's so easy? I don't have kids and I knew at a younger age it wasn't gonna be easy raising a real kid! I give props to all parents; especially the single ones doing it by themselves!

Doesn't Dawn have an egg?-The book honestly only mentions it like once and Claudia's we never see!

I really don't see why Ann made the books that Claudia can't read Nancy Drew books.I had a few Nancy Drew books and every once in a while still read them . There's nothing horrible about them,now if she wanted to really have books a thirteen year olds parents might not want her to read she should have picked VC Andrews ,I think Flowers in the attic was written in the late 70's early 80's

You wanna hear something ironic about this whole thing?

If they had to do this project today, instead of eggs, they'd have these baby dolls with a computer in them, that makes it cry at random points in the day, as well as track their progress. The only way to make it stop is a bracelet with a sensor that goes into the dolls back.

If theyd done the project with the dolls instead, this book would be waaaaaaay more realistic.

Picture the bad day with the twins again, only this time, a doll starts crying. And you cant just swipe the sensor over the back either. It has to actually go into the baby's back just right, or it wont stop crying.

The sensor thing is crazy, but at least its way more realistic than eggs lol
